I'm losing it for gluten. I made some delicious buttermilk pancakes (recipe from Cooks Illustrated) this time with real buttermilk because I had it in from making the chocolate cake. They were great, but they felt so heavy. Making them lighter might help next time, but I think these pancakes are just naturally very filling, so I should wait for a morning when I'm really hungry.
