Honey Ice Cream III 6.20.12

I reduced the honey amount this time and used half sugar.  I overcooked the eggs (a lot this time).  I should have mixed sugar with eggs before tempering with the hot cream.  Also, with a reduced amount of sugar, the eggs have a lower coagulation temp.

1 1/3 c milk
1 1/3 c heavy cream
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c honey
2 eggs
1/2 t vanilla

Next time, I might try reducing the egg amount.  The original recipe had less eggs, and I might go back to that.  Also, I used local eggs which might act differently in the ice cream. The ice cream tasted too eggy to me.
